Fern Ridge state police

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported on the following incidents:

• Police are investigating a harassment case in which a 17-year-old Brodheadsville boy was punched in the face. The incident occurred at 4:46 p.m. Feb. 6 in the 2000 block of Route 209. Police said the victim reported he was punched by a suspect while standing in the doorway of his residence.

• State police said someone stole $215 worth of baby shower supplies that were in a parked vehicle in the parking lot of the ShopRite store in Chestnuthill Township. The victim is a 54-year-old Effort woman who reported at 5 p.m. Feb. 14 that someone stole baby shower favors worth $200 and a kid’s backpack worth $15 from her unlocked 2006 Odyssey minivan.
