Firefighters rescue woman from burning home

A quick response by firefighters lead to the rescue of a woman trapped in her burning home Sunday morning in Schuylkill County.

Calls came into the Schuylkill County Communications Center of a dwelling fire along Dutchtown Road in Butler Township with entrapment.

Firefighters were able to gain access to the structure and brought the victim to safety. A short time after a medical helicopter was requested, with one being flown to the Lehigh Valley hospital trauma center.
