Firefighters save Mahoning home

A quick response by fire fighters saved a home Saturday afternoon in Mahoning township.

The fire was first reported at 2:30 along Dead End road when a man called reporting his home was on fire and he was attempting to put it out.

Firemen found a fire in  a ceiling to the rear of the dwelling and extinguished the flames, saving the home.
