Patchy dense fog has developed in the more susceptible rural and valley locations in eastern

Pennsylvania and northern New Jersey. This fog is expected to persist through the mid-morning hours.

If driving this morning, expect rapid changes in visibility. Use low-beam headlights, and maintain extra distance from other vehicles.

When the fog lifts, the day will be mostly sunny, with a high near 80. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Showers are likely Monday, mainly after 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 73. Southeast wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Monday Night: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Low around 68. Southeast wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Tuesday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 2pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Cloudy, with a high near 77. Southwest wind around 7 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Tuesday Night: A chance of showers, mainly before 8pm. The rain could be heavy at times. Partly cloudy, with a low around 62. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
