Frackville state police report on incidents

State police at Frackville reported on the following incidents.

• Troopers responded to a residence along Royer Street in New Ringgold at 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 31 for a disturbance. The victim, a 64-year-old man, of New Ringgold, and Dominique Gillette, 19, of Schuylkill Haven, engaged in a verbal argument over family matters. The incident turned physical and Gillette was cited for harassment - physical contact.

• Troopers stopped a 2011 Toyota van with trailer due to a headlight violation at 10:30 p.m. Sunday along South Lehigh Street in Frackville. The driver was identified as Wesley Grubb, 42, of Frackville. He was found to be impaired and placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence.

• On Jan. 27 at 10:30 p.m. troopers responded to a residence along Sherwood Drive, Barnesville, in Ryan Township, for a domestic assault report. On scene troopers learned a physical altercation occurred inside the residence which resulted in serious bodily injury to a 54-year-old woman. Troopers placed a 62-year-old man under arrest on assault and related counts. Troopers said he was arraigned before a district judge and committed to the county prison in Pottsville after failing to post bail.

Troopers declined to identify the suspect.
