FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS
Franklin Township’s board of supervisors took the following action on Tuesday:
• Approved the 2019 MMO for the township police pension plan in the amount of $43,275.
• Approved the 2019 MMO for the township nonuniformed pension plan in the amount of $42,517.
• Hired a part-time employee for the sanitation crew, at a salary of $12 an hour, and a start date of Oct. 1. The name of the employee was not provided.
• Accepted the settlement regarding the Klotz Lawsuit by way of Joint Tortfeasor release. The lawsuit stems from a vehicle crash that occurred in August 2016.
• Approved the Michael & Lisa Gabory minor subdivision plans pending the state Department of Environmental Protection’s approval of the planning modules.
• Announced that garbage collection for the Columbus Day holiday has been changed from Oct. 8 to Oct. 9.
• Announced that an electronic recycling event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 3.
