Fugitive caught after domestic call
A call for a domestic dispute in Tamaqua on May 3 ended with a man lodged in the Schuylkill County Prison awaiting extradition to Virginia.
Police were called to 101 W. Rowe St., Tamaqua, at 9:10 a.m. and spoke to a woman who said her boyfriend, Colin Crapse, 22, had punched her several times.
Crapse and two witnesses in the home disputed the victim’s report.
Via a routine records check, the officer found an outstanding warrant for Crapse’s arrest by Prince George County, Virginia, on two felony counts. He was arraigned as a fugitive and taken to the prison in Pottsville.
