Published March 21. 2018 01:44PM

Schuylkill Master Gardeners will hold two seminars this week on the dangers posed by the spotted lanternfly, an insect adversely affecting vineyards, orchards and trees throughout Pennsylvania.

The seminars will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday at the Schuylkill County Agricultural Center, 1202 Ag Center Drive in Pottsville.

The master gardeners will provide information on the issues created by the insects, how to identify them and insect control measures.

Even if you are unable to attend either seminar, call 570-622-4225, ext. 23, for more information.
