Guest presenter at St. John’s Thanksgiving service

Nancy Magargle, of Turbotville, will be the guest presenter at the annual Thanksgiving worship service at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 319 South Ave. in Jim Thorpe. The service will be held at 5 p.m. Nov. 17. All are welcome.

There will be a dinner immediately following the worship service in the fellowship hall, but reservations are a must and seating is limited.

There is a free will offering of $5 for the dinner per person; children are free.

The presenter’s book, “A Time to Live, A Time to Die,” will be available for purchase that evening for $15.
