Hauler hits deer, closes Rt. 443 in West Penn
Route 443 in West Penn township is closed due to a crash. The crash occurred at 5:30 a.m. as a tanker truck was traveling east at Mantzville Road when it struck a deer. The impact took out one of the front wheels. The unit climbed an embankment along the right berm coming back down on the roadway on its side. The driver was not injured.
