HGTV, come to Lansford

Christopher Ondrus, president of Lansford Alive, directs Lansford residents while practicing for their HGTV video submission by waving to the camera. People from the town came out Sunday to record a video for a chance at the HGTV town makeover. In the video, they said, “Ben and Erin, come to Lansford, Pennsylvania, for a town makeover!” The contest is set up to find one town which will receive a makeover from Ben and Erin Napier, host of the channel’s show “Home Town.” For “Home Town Takeover,” the show’s producers will choose a new town where they will fix up multiple individual homes, as well as public spaces such as parks, diners and rec centers.
