Highwood names chief marketing officer

Highwood USA, located in Hometown announced the promotion of Craig D. Smith to the position of chief marketing officer.

Smith joined the company in 2009 as sales and marketing director and later served as Strategic Marketing Director.

John Quarmley, Highwood’s CEO, said, “Craig has been instrumental in launching Highwood’s furniture business, in building our network of online retailers, growing the marketing team, and elevating the image and profile of Highwood as a company. Smith brings almost twenty years of experience in the industry, of which ten were with Highwood USA. He holds Bachelor of Arts degree in business strategy and international marketing and a MBA degree in Executive Management from Canyon College.

Highwood USA LLC was founded in 2003 as a manufacturer of high-quality synthetic wood for outdoor building and backyard products. The company employs more than 160 people in two facilities. Based in Hometown, where it produces extruded synthetic lumber, Highwood fabricates a wide array of outdoor furniture, garden accessories, and building products.
