Hit-and-run driver sought

State police at Schuylkill Haven are looking for a hit-and-run driver involved in a crash about 7:20 p.m. on June 28 in Wayne Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said a vehicle was driven westbound on Schuylkill Mountain Road when the operator failed to negotiate a left curve in the road. The vehicle went onto the berm and struck guide wire that was attached to a utility pole. After impact the vehicle re-entered the road and the driver continued westbound without stopping to report the crash.
