Infant dies in Schuylkill
State police at Frackville are investigating the death of an infant.
Troopers said authorities were called to a home at 26 S. Grant St., Shenandoah, around 6:55 a.m. on Sunday. A 5-month-old boy was found deceased.
The child was pronounced dead at the scene by a deputy coroner. An autopsy was scheduled for Monday afternoon.
Frackville troopers are being assisted by the state police forensic services unit.
No other details were released by troopers.
