Injuries are averted in crash near plaza

No one was hurt in a two-vehicle crash at 1:55 p.m. Feb. 9 along Weir Lake Road in Chestnuthill Township, according to state police at the Fern Ridge barracks.

Police said the crash happened when a 2005 Honda CR-V driven by Eric T. Fabianski, 22, of 6321 Overlook Drive, Kunkletown, failed to yield the right of way after leaving a shopping plaza parking lot and entered Weir Lake Road in front of a southbound 2013 Buick Verano operated by Debra A. Howell, 60, of 38 Hillside Place, Kresgeville.

Police said the Honda crashed into the passenger’s side of the Verano. The Honda was moderately damaged while the passenger’s side doors of the Verano sustained minor damages, police said.

Fabianski was cited for the incident.
