Inmate dies in Carbon

A Carbon County inmate was found dead in his cell Tuesday, prison officials say.

Warden Timothy Fritz confirmed the death, saying that it happened Tuesday evening, but would not release the name of the inmate, or the manner of death.

He said that the prison is waiting on the coroner’s report before making a final ruling on the death.
