It’s the Reader’s Turn at Tamaqua Area Middle School
Dylan Ems, Eighth grade
“I might do what my cousin’s doing — making his own costume, just using a mask and a hoodie. When I was little I went as Thomas the Train.”
Ava Agosti, Seventh grade
“I don’t know yet what I’m going to be. In fifth grade I was a cowgirl. I like to just make a costume from stuff I have at home.”
Andrew Balliet, Sixth grade
“I want to be like Michael Myers from the movie ‘Halloween’ — wear a white mask with my hair slicked back. I like that movie.”
Chance Godleski, Seventh grade
“I don’t think a lot about a costume — but I do like the candy.”
Emily Long, Seventh grade
“When I was little I really loved princesses and I was a princess every year. This year I want to be something scary — maybe a clown.”
Metta Pavia, Sixth grade
“There’s a scary movie that came out that gave us an idea — we’re all going to dress up as characters from ‘The Nun.’ When I was younger I wanted to be a mermaid.”
Lillian McNutt, Seventh grade
“My favorite costume was from fifth grade when I was the Queen of Hearts. This year my friend and I are going to go as Woody and Buzz from ‘Toy Story’ — we’re making our costumes.”
