Items valued near $900 stolen in L. Towamensing
Close to $900 worth of valuables were reported stolen from a Lower Towamensing Township home in a burglary that happened between 6 p.m. Aug. 8 and 6 p.m. Aug. 10.
State police at the Lehighton barracks, who are investigating, said the victim is a 66-year-old Lansdale woman. The break-in took place in the 3900 block of Forest Inn Road in the township. The intruders used force to gain access, police said.
Stolen were a LG smartwatch ($200), a Toshiba laptop ($300), Droid Turbo ($100), a Cloud camera ($200), a Smith and Wesson knife ($50), a key to an inoperable white Dodge Ram truck ($5), a mag light ($10) and a black bag/briefcase ($20).
