Community Thanksgiving dinner
St. Mark’s/St. John’s Episcopal Church will have its community Thanksgiving dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. on Nov. 24. It will be held in the Great Hall at 21 Race St. Donations for Family Promise will be accepted. The meal is free for all. For more information, call 570-325-2241.
Class events
Members of the 1967 graduating Class of Jim Thorpe High School will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. on Monday. They will meet at the Boulevard Restaurant in Lehighton.
Class of 1964 Jim Thorpe High School members will hold their monthly luncheon on Nov. 20, at the Palmerton Hungarian Club at 317 Lehigh Ave. There will be plenty of activities for those attending to participate in. The luncheon will begin at noon. Those attending are asked to bring two small donations of toys for the annual Toys for Tots Campaign of 2019.
Plans for the 50th reunion are now being made by the class of 1970 of Jim Thorpe High School. A meeting for all class members interested in helping with the planning is set for 10 a.m. Nov. 21 at the Boulevard Restaurant in Lehighton.
