Thanksgiving dinner

St. John’s Lutheran Church, South Avenue, will hold a Thanksgiving worship service and dinner beginning at 5 p.m. Nov. 18. Dinner reservations will be accepted until Nov. 12 and sigh up sheets are on the vestibule table or call the church at 570-325-4255 and leave your name, number of people attending or if you want a call back.

Class gatherings

Members of the 1965 graduating class of Jim Thorpe Area High School will meet at noon Nov. 9 at the Fegley’s Brew Works 559 Main St., Bethlehem. Following the luncheon the members will be visiting the Moravian Book Store for some early holiday shopping.

Legion dues

Members of the American Legion Post 304, are reminded that active membership dues are now being accepted. They may be mailed to American Legion Post 304, 20 W. Sixth St., attention Bill Diehm. For more information, call Diehm at 570-325-3890.
