Jim Thorpe cruised to a Schuylkill League sweep of Minersville.

The Olympians boys claimed every event in posting a 133-16 victory, while the JT girls captured a 103-46 decision.

Thorpe’s William Munson won all three throwing events in the boys meet, while Jarrin Geisinger (100, 200), Samuel Hydro (1600, 3200), and Thomas Layden (hurdles) all posted a pair of individual wins.

In the girls competition, three Olympians each gained two wins apiece. They included Emma Dunbar (100, 200), Kylee Dulski (hurdles), and Devon Lignore (shot, discus).

Lehighton-North Schuylkill

Lehighton split its Schuylkill League meet with North Schuylkill thanks to a narrow win by the Indian girls.

Eight different Lehighton girls earned individual wins in a 77-73 victory. Five of those wins came in the field events, as the Indians posted a 42-21 advantage that led to the victory.

In the boys meet, Lehighton’s Shae Blasiak produced two wins in the jumps (triple, high) but the Spartans captured firsts in nine of the 15 individual events to eventually produce an 80-70 decision.

Northwestern split its meet against Southern Lehigh and Saucon Valley on Tuesday.

Both Tiger teams beat the Panthers but lost to the Spartans.

Southern Lehigh took first place in all but a few events. The Tigers’ Alyssa Zach (800) and Molly Tarvin (3200) won individual girls events.

Zachary Rosamalia won two events for the Tiger boys (long jump, triple jump), while Sam Yadush won the javelin.
