Jim Thorpe Police investigate vehicle thefts

The Jim Thorpe Police Department continues to investigate several reports of theft.

Police said the thefts occurred in the Heights section of the borough when multiple vehicles were entered sometime overnight between Wednesday and Thursday.

The vehicles were parked between the 100-300 blocks of Center and South Avenue.

A miter saw was also taken from the back porch of a residence located on the 200 block of South Avenue.

Police are asking residents who have security cameras to review them and contact the department.
