Jim Thorpe Area School District’s board of education held their reorganization meeting on Monday night.
Gerald Strubinger, Dennis McGinley Jr., Ron Marciante and Glenn Confer Sr. were all sworn in for four-year terms. As Marciante ran for both a four- and a two-year term, his vacant two-year seat was taken by John Ciavarella Jr.
McGinley was approved as president of the board, with Confer serving as vice president, filling the seats of Dr. Michael Principe and Pearl Downs-Sheckler respectively.
