JT’s Keefer, Scott have success at Alvernia

A pair of Jim Thorpe graduates recently wrapped up successful seasons with the Alvernia University men’s track and field program.

Trevor Keefer placed second in the pole vault at the ECAC Division III championships, clearing 3.65m (11-11.75). Previously, Keefer recorded a 13th-place in the men’s decathlon with 2,033 points at the MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Fellow freshmen Jason Scott placed eighth in both the shot put (13.22m) and hammer throw (41.45m) at the MAC championships.
