JT’s Rosahac headed to Albright

Jim Thorpe’s Nick Rosahac will continue his academic and athletic career at Albright College, where he will play football.

Rosahac spent four years on the varsity team for the Olympians, where he played quarterback and defensive back. As a quarterback, Rosahac completed 64-of-117 passes for 921 yards while throwing seven touchdowns and six interceptions. He also added 122 yards rushing and two scores.

Rosahac was a First Team Schuylkill League selection at defensive back and a SCFCA First Team pick as a defensive back. Rosahac was also selected for the SCFCA Dream Team as a defensive back.

The Pottsville Rebuplican and Times News named Rosahac a First Team All Star, while EasternPaFootball.com tabbed him as an honorable mention pick.

In addition to football, Rosahac also played basketball, baseball and track at Jim Thorpe. The class vice president, Rosahac is a member of the Scholastic Scrimmage team, Student Council, Student Forum and the National Honor Society.

The son of Thomas and Marie Rosahac, Nick will major in political science and education and play defensive back at Albright.
