JT’s Williams to wrestle at Disney Duals in Florida

Jim Thorpe’s Austin Williams will be competing in the Disney Duals in Orlando, Florida. Williams will be wrestling with the Brawlers Wrestling Club.

Williams is coming off a stellar junior season in which he qualified for the Southeast Regional Tournament for the first time after placing fourth at districts.

A team captain, Williams also placed first at the South Williamsport Tournament for the second straight year while also recording a runner-up finish at the Pope John Paul Invitational.

Also an honor student, Williams finished the season as a Times News Second Team All-Star after being ranked second at 182 pounds.
