Kennedy Park concerts continue

The Music in the Park series, sponsored by the Lansford Alive Events Committee, continues this weekend with a concert by Matt Miskie, who will play classic rock from the ’50s and ’60s as well as several folk tunes. Miskie will play at the gazebo in Kennedy Park from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

The park is located at the west end of Lansford, near the Panther Valley football stadium on Route 209.

Admission is free and refreshments will be available.

Additional concerts in the series will include: July 15, Six To Midnight offering oldies, Americana and radio hits; July 22, Big, Bad Rock-A-Billy Cats playing classic rock.

All proceeds will benefit the revitalization of the Kennedy Park.
