Krcic named player of week
Pleasant Valley graduate Dean Krcic was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Special Teams Athlete of the Week for his performance Oct. 12 against East Stroudsburg.
The Kutztown University redshirt junior averaged a season-best 48 yards per punt on three attempts with a long of 54 yards. He also placed one inside ESU’s 20 during the Golden Bears’ 35-13 victory. The two-time All-PSAC East punter has added kicking duties this year.
Against the Warriors, Krcic forced a pair of touchbacks on six kickoffs and made all five of his extra point tries. The PSAC East Special Teams Athlete of the Week honor is the third of Krcic’s career and first this season.
