Lansford Borough Council, on Wednesday, acted on or discussed the following items:

• Council showed support for Pennsylvania’s “Restore PA” infrastructure improvement plan. There is potential for the borough to benefit from Gov. Tom Wolf’s plan concerning infrastructure needs.

• Jennifer Staines was appointed to fill the vacant four-year seat on the Zoning Hearing Board. The term is from Jan. 1, 2019, through Dec. 31, 2022.

• An agreement was reached for Joseph Lyons to serve as administrator of services and consultant of technology for the borough. Lyons successfully updated all of the borough’s computers and information. The agreement would permit Lyons to update and remove software from borough’s computers as needed by the borough. This agreement was set up for liability reasons.
