Lansford Ethnic Festival is Saturday

The Lansford Ethnic Festival will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday in Kennedy Park.

The day is filled with entertainment and vendors offering food and wares.

MJ Big Band will perform from 2-4 p.m., with the Shoreliners playing from 6-8 p.m.

Children’s activities include a bubble blowing contest at 2 p.m. and Buster the Clown from 3-5 p.m.

Community organizations participating include: Coal Region Catholics for Change, Friends of the Lansford Recreation, Lansford Alive Events Committee, Lansford Historical Society, Panther Valley Cub Pack 765, Panther Valley Cheerleaders and St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church.

Vendors include Aunt G.’s Pastries, Caribbean Cuizine, Maltyan Jewels by Paparazzi, Handmade Jewelry by Felicia Porambo and The Ring King.
