Lansford flower bed damaged

Volunteers with Lansford Alive spent more than 50 man hours beautifying the gateway to the town along Route 902 earlier this summer. It took an instant for a driver to plow it over. A vehicle drove into the flowerbed last Saturday evening, taking out a bush and blocks that bordered the gateway. Police located the driver and plan to file a citation. CHRIS REBER/TIMES NEWS
