Lansford will enforce parking regulations for snow removal Thursday and Friday

Lansford’s snow ordinance will be enforced 8 a.m.-3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.

On Thursday, an even-numbered calendar day, vehicles will need to be removed from the south and west sides of the street (even house number side).

On Friday, an odd-numbered calendar day, vehicles will need to be removed from the north and east sides of the street (odd house number side).

The owner of any vehicle in violation of the ordinance is subject to a minimum fine of $25 and the towing of the vehicle and associated costs.

The department asks for everyone’s cooperation throughout the storm and while the ordinance is in effect.

The snow ordinance goes into effect and is enforced following any snowfall of 4 inches or more.
