LANta adds Memorial Day bus service

For the first time LANtaBus will be running service on Memorial Day.

In addition to Memorial Day, buses will run Sunday-level service on New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Independence Day, and Labor Day. LANtaVan and LANtaFlex will also provide service those days.

Thanksgiving and Christmas Day will be the only days with no service.

“We are responding to the needs of a vibrant Lehigh Valley, Executive Director Owen O’Neil said. “Serving the employment, shopping and social needs of our riders is a high priority at LANTA. Adding transit service on holidays has been well received by our riders.”
