L.B. Morris to host yard sale at school

L.B. Morris Elementary School will host a yard sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 4 at the school in Jim Thorpe.

Proceeds for the event go to Project PROSPER.

Organizers are currently looking for donations of items for the sale. Items can be dropped off on the sidewalk out front of the school in the morning the week of Oct. 30. There will also be evening drop-offs from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday; and 7 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

Most items will be accepted. No televisions please.

Any unsold items left over from the sale will also be donated to the Salvation Army and other local organizations.
