LCCC offers STEM summer sessions

Lehigh Carbon Community College’s Early Learning Center will offer STEM summer camps beginning in July at its main campus in Schnecksville.

The camp offers children fun activities while weaving in academic learning and is geared toward children ages 3 through 6 years old. Participants can choose from one to six weeks of camp sessions. All sessions run from 9 a.m. to noon.

There is a fee per session. Sessions are as follows:

• Session 1: Plan It, July 1-5, Tools and Blueprints (no class July 4)

• Session 2: Build It, July 8-12, Transportation, July 15-19, Bridges

• Session 3: At the Beach, July 22-26, Amusement Park Fun; July 29-Aug. 2, Beach Fun; Aug. 5-9, Exploring Sea Life
