LCCC summer session begins July 8

Lehigh Carbon Community College will offer a five-week summer session beginning July 8 for continuing and new LCCC students, as well as those who are getting a head start on the fall semester at a university.

Classes are offered online and face-to-face at campuses in Schnecksville, Allentown and Tamaqua, as well as the Baum School of Art in downtown Allentown. Students can take courses in art, science, business, economics, English, criminal justice, geography, history, math, philosophy, political science, psychology, sociology and Spanish.

Tuition is $100 per credit for students from one of LCCC’s sponsoring school districts and $200 per credit for other Pennsylvania residents. Schuylkill County residents pay $150 a credit, and out-of-state or foreign students pay $300 a credit. Tuition and fees are due at the time of registration.

New students can apply for admission online at www.lccc.edu.

Those seeking a degree must complete a placement test, or meet requirements for exemption, and meet with an adviser before registering for classes. Students can pay online or in person at the Business Office in Schnecksville, as well as sites in Tamaqua and Allentown.
