Leadership Carbon now accepting members

Leadership Carbon is accepting new members for the Class of 2019.

This year’s nine-month program will kick off in September lasting until May 2019, with meetings on the second Wednesday of the month from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Attendees learn valuable skills that help develop their potential for and encouraging their acceptance of civic responsibilities, leadership and much more.

Orientation is scheduled for Sept. 12 at the Blue Mountain Ski Area and will include team building exercises.

Participants may also be eligible to receive college credits through Lehigh Carbon Community College.

Applications must be submitted by Aug. 10, to be considered for the Class of 2019.
