Lehigh man facing firearms count
A Lehigh County man is facing a firearms charge following an incident that occurred on Sunday.
State police at Stroudsburg said troopers observed a disabled vehicle along Interstate 80 westbound in Smithfield Township at 11:42 a.m. While speaking with the operator, identified as Jarret Klinger, 35, of Slatington, it was discovered he had a loaded concealed firearm in his vehicle and did not have a concealed weapon carry permit as required.
He was placed under arrest for the firearms charge.
