Published August 29. 2018 05:25AM

Lehigh Township Police conducted a traffic enforcement detail from Saturday through Monday, funded by an Aggressive Driving grant on Cherryville Road.

On Monday, police stopped 22 vehicles for speeding. Two drivers were cited for failing to use their seat belt, and one car seat was adjusted to make a better fit for the child.

The average speed cited was 55 mph in the posted 35 mph zone. The top speed cited was 67 mph.

On Friday night, police clocked a car at 103 mph in a posted 45 mph zone.

Comments
That is the only thing the police around here "enforce". 55 in a 35? They could sit there all day long and make money because we all know the only people doing 35 are old people. Even these traffic cops don't obey the speed limits when they're off the clock. The "limits" are antiquated, but they sure do make money!
