Lehighton 5th-6th graders win basketball Tournament

The Lehighton 5th and 6th grade boys all star basketball team recently won the Minersville tournament held at Minersville High School. Lehighton finished the tournament undefeated with a record of 5-0. They defeated Schuylkill Haven, Line Mountain, Northern Lebanon and Mahanoy Area to reach the title game, and then won the tournament with a victory over Minersville. The championship caps an outstanding postseason for Lehighton which won all three tournaments it entered, compiling a 14-1 record in the process.
