LEHIGHTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

Lehighton Borough Council took the following action on Monday:

• Agreed to have borough manager Nicole Beckett execute the necessary paperwork with the state Department of Transportation in order to complete the transfer of certain right of way and easement areas relative to the Route 443 project for a total just compensation of $2,300.

• Agreed to advertise the Beaver Run 12,470 volt circuit upgrades.

• Amended the fee schedule resolution to include equipment rental for the brush hog at the rate of $165 an hour.

• Hired Irene Ellis as crossing guard pending all pre-employment process.
