Lehighton Class of 1970 to plan reunion
Lehighton Area High School Class of 1970 will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Lehighton American Legion to plan for the 50th class reunion. All classmates are encouraged to attend.

I wonder if they remember a public government school, governed by directors that honored their oath of office?
Did the government in 1970 fail to properly oversee the administration they hired? Were those that were elected to oversee, do the overseeing?
Did they provide a rubber stamper and offer a blind trust?
Were students safe, or were they harmed by actions or inaction of government officials?
Was 1970 a time capsule of when the district was less corrupt?
