Lehighton crash sends driver to trauma center

  • Empty

A Carbon County driver was seriously injured Friday afternoon when he swerved to avoid hitting a deer. The crash occurred just after 4 p.m. as the driver was traveling east on Lower Nis Hollow Drive, Lehighton when the deer ran out. The driver swerved to the left crossing the roadway and entering the berm where he hit a tree. The force of the impact bounced the Volkswagon Beetle around, coming to rest facing west. Members of the Mahoning Valley Fire Company extricated the man from the wreckage. He was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a trauma center. Mahoning Township Police are investigating the incident. COPYRIGHT LARRY NEFF/ SPECIAL TO THE TIMES NEWS

Probably doing at least 60mph on his way back from Wal-Mart or going to one of the dealers in Nis Hollywood Estates.
Everyone thinks Lower Nis and Troxells is a race track.
Well aren’t you a judgemental pos. He lives in nis hollow with his daughter and his wife. He was heading home from work, a full time job at a junkyard, when he swerved to miss a dear. Why are you such a negative disgusting person? Try smiling more, not everyone is a criminal.
