    Lehighton announces athletic MVPs
    Lehighton MVPs were named for the winter and spring sports seasons. They included, front row from left, Kaia Slaw (girls track and field), Aaron Miller (co-ed tennis), Miranda Petit (cheerleading), Becky Serfass (softball), Chris Whiteman (wrestling); back row, Emily Miller (girls basketball), Michael Bozilesky (baseball), Addison Howland (boys basketball). With them is Lehighton Athletic Director Kyle Spotts. Other MVPs were Tahmir Spencer (boys track and field) and Logan Pagotto (wrestling; co-MVP with Whiteman).     Lehighton Scholar Athletes for the winter and spring sports seasons were, from left, Evan Beers (boys track and field), Isabella Baka (girls track and field, and cheerleading), Olivia Frendt (tennis), Emily Miller (girls basketball) and Addison Howland (boys basketball). Lehighton recently announced their MVPs and Scholar Athletes for the winter and spring sports seasons. The school also named the overall winners in both categories.

Indians named MVPs included:

Girls Track and Field - Kaia Slaw

Boys Track and Field - Tahmir Spencer

Softball - Becky Serfass

Baseball - Michael Bozilesky

Co-ed Tennis - Aaron Miller

Girls Basketball - Emily Miller

Boys Basketball - Addison Howland

Wrestling - Chris Whiteman

Cheerleading - Miranda Petit

Boys Track and Field - Evan Beers

Baseball - Mason Barndt

Co-ed Tennis - Olivia Frendt

Emily Miller was named the school’s overall female MVP, while Chris Whiteman was selected the male MVP.

The overall Scholar Athletes were Isabella Baka and Addison Howland.
