Bethany EC Church
Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday worship at 10:45 a.m. with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor.
Palm Sunday, Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages, including adult Bible study class; fellowship time, 10:15 a.m.; preschool nursery available and Jr. Church provided for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.

Crossroads Community Church
Crossroads Community Church, 580 Coal St., holds Sunday worship service with Pastor Kevin McGraw. It is a place for a fresh start with God.
Adult Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.; contemporary worship service at 10:30 a.m. with nursery available; children’s Sunday school at 11 a.m.; fellowship following service.
Tuesday: Adult Bible study at 6:30 p.m., currently studying the book of 1 Thessalonians.
Palm Sunday: April 14, special service including Communion.

Spring Bazaar: 5 to 8 p.m. April 12, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 13.
Worship Service: 9 a.m. April 14 Palm/Passion Sunday with Holy Communion and Sunday school at 10:15 a.m.
Council Meeting: 6:30 p.m. April 15 in the church office.
Grief Support: 6:30 p.m. April 15 in the family room.
Prayer Shawl Meeting: 1 to 3 p.m. April 16 in the church kitchen. Anyone is invited who would like to get together to work on projects. The meetings are also for those who would like information on making the shawls. We are currently looking for people to crochet or knit lap robes and shawls. The yarn is provided and can be picked up at the church. Prayer shawls and lap robes may be requested for anyone in need of comfort (not limited to members of this congregation). Resurrection (Easter) Sunday: 6:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. April 21 with Holy Communion at both services. Continental-style breakfast follows the 6:30 a.m. service.
St. John’s Cemetery Association requests that all Christmas decorations be removed from the cemetery by April 15.

Trinity highlights
Palm Sunday worship with Holy Communion at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., begins at 9:30 a.m. Gluten-free wafers are available to those with allergy issues. Palm fronds will be distributed. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Vicar Richard Bergen assists. Coffeehouse fellowship is at 10:30 a.m.
Sunday church school for students ages 3 through sixth grade starts at 10:45 a.m. Weather permitting, participants will parade around the block waving the palm branches. Seasonal crafts and activities will follow inside at the church. There will be no Sunday church school classes April 21.
Holy Week worship continues with April 18, Maundy Thursday, 7 p.m. worship with Holy Communion; fifth-grade students receive their First Holy Communion. April 19, Good Friday, 7 p.m. Tenebrae worship. April 21, Easter, 9:30 a.m. worship with Holy Communion, 10:45 a.m. Easter breakfast.
For those desiring to arrange a baptismal date, Pastor Moore will share information Sunday at 1 p.m. For those desiring to seek membership at Trinity, Pastor Moore will provide information at 1 p.m. April 28. Please contact the church office in advance at 610-377-4303 to register.
A four-session Bible study on the book of Ruth, being led by Vicar Rich, begins at 6:30 p.m. May 6. Advance registration is requested.
