Bethany EC Church
Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday Easter sunrise service at 7 a.m. and worship at 10:45 a.m. with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor.
Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages, fellowship time, 10:15 a.m.; preschool nursery available and Jr. Church provided for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Thursday: Maundy Thursday with Holy Communion, 7 p.m.

Crossroads Community Church
Crossroads Community Church, 580 Coal St., holds Sunday worship service with Pastor Kevin McGraw. It is a place for a fresh start with God.
Adult Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.; contemporary worship service at 10:30 a.m. with nursery available; children’s Sunday school at 11 a.m.; fellowship following service.

Trinity Highlights
The Holy Week schedule continues with Maundy Thursday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., at 7 p.m. First Holy Communion will be distributed to four students. Good Friday Tenebrae worship of the Shadows begins at 7 p.m. April 19.
Easter Sunday worship with Holy Communion begins at 9:30 a.m. Gluten-free wafers are available to those with allergy issues. The Rev Nancy Moore presides. Vicar Richard Bergen assists. Easter breakfast begins 10:45 a.m.
Sunday church school will not meet April 21; classes resume at 10:45 a.m. April 28.
