Bethany EC Church
Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday worship at 10:45 a.m. with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor.
Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages, including adult Bible study class; fellowship time, 10:15 a.m.; preschool nursery available and Jr. Church provided for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Wednesday: Prayer meeting, prayer devotional and singing, 7-8 p.m.
Thursday: Men’s Bible study at McDonald’s, 5:15 a.m.; choir rehearsal, 7 p.m.
Friday: Prayer Shawl Ministry, 7 p.m. Meets every other Friday.

Crossroads Community Church
Crossroads Community Church, 580 Coal St., holds Sunday worship service with Pastor Jim Banks. It is a place for a fresh start with God.
Adult Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.; contemporary worship service at 10:30 a.m. with nursery available; children’s Sunday school at 11 a.m.; fellowship following service.
Tuesday: Adult Bible study at 6:30 p.m., currently studying the book of Ephesians.
Communion: Last Sunday of the month.
St. John’s Lutheran
St. John’s Lutheran Church of Mahoning, 826 Mahoning Drive W. Lehighton, holds worship service at 9 a.m. Sunday and Sunday school at 10:15 a.m.

Trinity happenings
Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., begins at 9:30 a.m. Vicar Richard Bergen presides. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.
Trinity is in the process of purchasing copies of the new cranberry-colored Evangelical Lutheran Worship hymnals. Please contact the church office before Sunday if you are would like to sponsor a tribute in memory or honor of a loved one.
Sunday church school for students ages 3 through sixth grade starts at 10:45 a.m.
