Bethany EC Church

Thursday: Men’s Bible study at McDonald’s, Blakeslee Boulevard, Lehighton 5 a.m.; choir practice, 7 p.m.

Friday: Wrapped in prayer ministry, 7 p.m.

Sunday: Pastor Tim Ream, Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church, 222 North St., Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages; fellowship time 10:15-10:45 a.m.; worship service and welcome new members, 10:45 am.; fellowship luncheon at 12:30 p.m. and annual congregational meeting at 1:30 p.m.

Crossroads Community Church

Crossroads Community Church, 580 Coal St., holds Sunday worship service with Pastor Kevin McGraw. It is a place for a fresh start with God.

Adult Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.; contemporary worship service at 10:30 a.m. with nursery available; children’s Sunday school at 11 a.m.; fellowship following service.

Foundations class: Sundays at 9:30 a.m.

Midweek Bible study: Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. Currently studying the book of Revelation.

Winter Walks with Jesus: Adult Faith Formation immediately following worship on Jan. 26.

Sanctuary choir: Practice for 15 minutes on Sunday following the worship service.

Book Club: Feb. 4, 6:30 p.m. in the Family Room.

Trinity Happenings

Miller-Keystone Blood Center will hold a blood drive at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. This is in honor of a local 4-year-old girl diagnosed with an aggressive cancer who has received transfusions from Miller-Keystone during her hospitalization. Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church begins at 9:30 a.m. Students and families of Jack and Jill Preschool will be recognized. The preschool children will take part in the service with songs and rhymes. Jack and Jill Preschool was started in 1978 providing safe, caring Christian preschool education to the children of the area. Pastor Moore and music director Sue Lovejoy will have a special children’s message and sing songs that celebrate families. Vicar Joshua Krenz assists. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.

Sunday church school for students ages 3 through sixth grade start at 10:45 a.m.

Students in grades 5-12 are invited to participate in food, conversation and youth group activities Jan. 26, 5-7 p.m., at the second floor youth room. Vicar Joshua Krenz is the youth adviser.
