Trinity happenings
Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St. begins at 9:30 a.m. Students and families of Jack and Jill Preschool will be recognized. The students will take part by singing songs and reciting rhymes, and blessings will be bestowed on their favorite stuffed animals. The Rev. Nancy Moore presides. Vicar Rich Bergen assists. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.
Sunday church school classes for students age 3 through sixth grade begin at 10:45 a.m.
“Breaking Bread” youth group for students in grades 7-12 meets in the youth room from 5-7 p.m. Sunday with supper, Bible study and discussion.

Jack and Jill Preschool provides a Christian faith-based early learning to children ages 3-through-pre-K and families in the Lehighton area. Registration for the 2018-19 preschool term begins Feb. 5. Bethany EC Church
Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday worship with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor.
Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages, including adult Bible study class, fellowship time at 10:15 a.m., morning worship at 10:45 a.m., preschool nursery available and Jr. Church provided for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Monday: Kids Club, 6-7:15 p.m.
Tuesday: Ladies Bible study, 10 a.m. at Blocker’s residence.
Wednesday: Revelation Bible study, 6 p.m.; prayer meeting, 7 p.m.
Thursday: Men’s Bible study at McDonald’s, 5:15 a.m.
