Bethany EC Church
Bethany EC Church, 222 North St. holds Sunday worship at 10:45 a.m. with the Rev. Jeff Stansbury, pastor.
Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages, including adult Bible study class; fellowship time, 10:15 a.m.; preschool nursery available and Jr. Church provided for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Wednesday: Lenten services at 7 p.m.
Thursday: Men’s Bible study at McDonald’s, 5:15 a.m.; choir rehearsal, 7 p.m.

Crossroads Community Church
Crossroads Community Church, 580 Coal St., holds Sunday worship service with Pastor Kevin McGraw. It is a place for a fresh start with God.
Adult Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.; contemporary worship service at 10:30 a.m. with nursery available; children’s Sunday school at 11 a.m.; fellowship following service.

Trinity highlights
Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St. begins at 9:30 a.m. To be included is the service of healing and blessing of prayer shawls. Vicar Richard Bergen presides. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.
The Service of Healing with prayers and the “laying on of hands” are said for those to help ease one’s emotional, physical and spiritual burdens. Prayer shawls are handmade by volunteers, and are to be used in times of joy or sorrow and ordinary times as a form of comfort during daily faith practices. The prayer shawls are available at no cost.
Sunday church school classes for students ages 3 through sixth grade begins at 10:45 a.m.
Midweek Lenten worship with Holden evening prayer and Psalm devotion continues Wednesdays at 7 p.m. through April 10. Simple soup supper precedes worship at 6 p.m.
First Tuesday Quiet Communion is at 10 a.m. April 2.
The schedule for instructional sessions to receive First Holy Communion for your child in fifth grade or higher are announced. These after-school sessions will be April 15-17. First Holy Communion will take place during the Maundy Thursday worship service April 18. Please register by contacting the church office by April 1.
